After many months of consultation with stakeholders the new site is more user-friendly, has a new look and feel, improved structure and a suite of upgraded tools and technical capabilities. The most popular tool on WetlandInfo—WetlandSummary—is now accessible with just one click from the homepage and features groundwater dependent ecosystem mapping, many new search areas, a moveable map, direct links to WetlandMaps and much more… The redevelopment and ongoing improvement of WetlandInfo includes the design, navigation and content of the website, and is user driven. Consultation processes include online questionnaires, website statistics, user testing and workshops with a diverse range of clients such as regional natural resource management bodies, federal, state and local government agencies, universities, peak industry bodies and non-government organisations.
WetlandInfo is a first-stop-shop for wetland information in Queensland providing a range of tools and resources to assist with the sustainable management of wetlands. Information is provided by a range of stakeholders, including federal, state and local governments, regional natural resource management bodies, research institutions and other reliable sources.
